I saw that ad also last night. The inclusion of twitter struck me as really forced, like Coke and Wal Mart told the agency to "throw some social media references in there," along with the reference to his judo coach and his allergist.

Interesting conclusion. The entire ad was forced... Here's a guy at
his own party, where every single person invited was in attendance,
yet nobody is acknowledging he exists while he bops around.

I don't think they do anything for the heck of it, and there are
plenty of social networks willing to pay big for inclusion in a Coke
Christmas ad. I'm leaning towards Twitter paying for that placement
(smart). I was shocked at the exclusion of Facebook.
